Ingredients

For the base
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted
For the layers
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk 1 can
  • 1 cup chopped nuts optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter. Stir until well combined and crumbly.
  4. Press the graham cracker mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form an even layer.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded coconut evenly over the crust, followed by the semi-sweet chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.
  6. Pour the entire can of sweetened condensed milk over the top, ensuring an even coating that reaches all corners.
  7. If you’re using chopped nuts, sprinkle them over the condensed milk.
Baking
  1. Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
  3. Slice them into bars and enjoy the sweet magic!

Notes

Tip: For a nut-free version, omit the optional nuts. For a vegan option, use dairy-free butter and chocolate chips. Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
