Preparation
- Gather all your ingredients and measure them out.
- Plug in your crockpot and set it on low heat for a longer cooking time or high for about 30 minutes.
- In the crockpot, pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and garlic powder. Stir gently until combined.
- Toss in the package of tortellini, ensuring each piece is submerged in the creamy mixture.
- Add the spinach and mix well. If using frozen spinach, separate it before adding.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
- Cover and let it cook! If on low, simmer for about 1 hour. If on high, cook for about 30 minutes.
Finishing
- When the tortellini are tender, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and incorporated. Taste for seasoning adjustments.
- Ladle the creamy tortellini into bowls and add any additional toppings you like.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. To reheat, add a splash of chicken broth or cream in a saucepan over low heat until heated through.
