Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Steam your broccoli until tender, then drain and chop finely.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, beaten egg, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until well combined.
- Using your hands, form small balls (about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter). If the mixture is too crumbly, add a bit more water or an extra egg.
- Place the broccoli balls on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray the tops with olive oil.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Allow them to cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat from frozen at 375°F (190°C) for about 20-25 minutes.
