  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup strawberry sauce (for drizzling)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and eggs to the yeast mixture. Stir until well combined.
  3. Gradually add all-purpose flour, mixing until a sticky dough forms. Adjust flour as needed.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.
Prepare the Filling
  1. In another bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and chopped strawberries. Mix until smooth.
Assembling the Rolls
  1. After the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Spread the cream cheese and strawberry mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a border.
  3. Roll the dough tightly from one end into a log and cut into 12 equal-sized rolls.
  4. Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Drizzle with strawberry sauce before serving and enjoy!
