Ingredients

For the crust
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
For the filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping
For the layers
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 2 cups raspberry or strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  2. Press the pretzel mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow it to cool completely.
  3. In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping gently until well blended.
  4. Once the pretzel crust is fully cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust, ensuring even coverage.
  5. In a separate bowl, dissolve the gelatin in boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved. Allow it to cool slightly before pouring it over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Evenly distribute the sliced strawberries and blueberries over the gelatin layer.
  7. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until completely set.
  8. Cut into squares and serve cold.

Notes

Use fresh berries for the best flavor. Can add other fruits like kiwi or pineapple for variety. Ensure crust is cooled before adding cream cheese layer. Stores in refrigerator for up to 3 days, but doesn't freeze well.
