Preparation
  1. Grate the potatoes and onion.
  2. In a bowl, mix the grated potatoes and onion with the egg, flour, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the pan and flatten slightly.
  3. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Tips: Use a box grater or food processor for quick grating. Squeeze out excess moisture from the grated potatoes for crispiness. Adjust pancake thickness for desired crispiness.
