- Cut a ripe watermelon in half and scoop out the flesh.
- Blend the watermelon flesh until smooth using a blender.
- Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp, keeping it as smooth as possible.
Mixing the Punch
- In a large pitcher, combine the fresh watermelon juice and lime juice. Stir well to integrate flavors.
- Gently crush the mint leaves in your palm to release their essential oils, then add them to the watermelon mixture.
Final Touch
- Just before serving, pour in the sparkling water to retain the fizz. Stir carefully to avoid flattening the bubbles.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the punch over. Garnish with mint sprigs for a pop of color.
Notes
Best served fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Add sparkling water right before serving for optimal fizz.
