Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Dough
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Make sure it's softened for easier mixing.
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened Use softened butter for better incorporation.
  • 1 cup sugar Granulated sugar preferred.
  • 1 large egg Room temperature for better mixing.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
For the Mix-ins
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries Fresh or frozen (thawed and drained).
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and butter. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually add sugar to the cream cheese mixture, mixing until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped strawberries and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop dollops of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the center is set.
  2. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For flavor variations, substitute strawberries with blueberries or raspberries. Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for best texture.
